Tell me more about Jesus

In a world where ‘what is needful’ is easily replaced with ‘personal desires’ a chaotic outcome is inevitable. In the wake of all the drama and charades that surround Christianity, only one thing is needful and that is believing in Jesus. Who is Jesus? What did He do? Why is the name Jesus noised about everywhere? Where is He now? Tell me, tell me, just tell me more about Jesus.

Jesus is greater than anything or person you can ever imagine. He is God made manifest in the flesh. He is awesomely radiant and mighty. He transcends time before and beyond. He is our immutable companion in whom all things exist and consist. He holds all wisdom, knowledge, and understanding which He gives to every man according to His will. He is the mathematician whose 1+1=1 equation can never be proven by the principles and theorems of the world. Are you following? Okay, let’s continue.

Jesus is the truth that sets all men free from slavery, pain, sin, curses, and eternal damnation. He is the light that lights the path of men. My Jesus brings illumination by clearing doubts and driving away darkness. In His own words, He said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life, No one comes to the Father except through me”. Have you become a doubter because of the myriads of false teachings around? Come to Jesus because in Him there is no shadow of a doubt.

Do you know that Jesus is our atoning sacrifice? He is the one man who lived on Earth for 33 years and no sin or deceit was found in Him. He is also the only man who laid down His life for all mankind and after the third day was raised to life. Our hope for a glorious future hanged on His victory over sin and death. He won a flawless victory and made a spectacle of the devil. When He ascended, He gave many gifts to equip us for works of service. Most importantly, His promise of the Holy Spirit was the icing on the cake. The mystery began to unfold when the Holy Spirit made His dwelling in us.

This same Jesus is a King clothed in glory and His Kingdom is from everlasting to everlasting. He is seated at the right hand of God and continuously intercedes for you and I. As a matter of both concern and great joy, Jesus will come again but this time as a King who will take His elect with Him. Initially, He took upon Himself a form of a servant to save you and me from death (which we deserved). Through that, He has shown us the way to eternal life. Now He comes as a Judge. Do not miss His rapture, let us go to Heaven together.

There is always more to tell about Jesus

Amen
